FANS OF Latin American music and Irish trad have plenty to look forward to with the gigs that are taking place in Coyotes Late Bar.
On Wednesdays, Latin and salsa band Armada Latina play from 10pm, and every Thursday The Waxies take to the stage from 11pm. There is no cover charge for either gig and doors open at 9pm.
Armada Latina is a six-piece collective featuring musicians from South America, Ireland, and Spain. The band blends a variety of styles including salsa, samba, boogaloo, funk, reggae, and hip-hop.
The Waxies fuse Irish trad with rock and stand up comedy. The stage performance is in a class of its own as their whole philosophy is to extract as much fun as humanly possible from each gig.
