Tools stolen in raids

At approximately 1.20 am on Tuesday morning July 12 a garage at the side of a house at Bookeen, Athenry, was broken into. A vehicle parked at the property at the time was also broken into.

During the course of the incident a number of items including a socket set, a set of impact sockets and four Milwaukee drills were taken from the garage and vehicle.

The Gardaí are asking anyone that may have seen any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the Bookeen area on Monday night/Tuesday morning or anyone who may have been offered any of the items for sale to contact them at Athenry Garda Station on 091-844016 or Oranmore Garda Station on 091-388030.

Sometime between 8.30 pm on Friday night July 15 and 9 am on Saturday morning July 16 a commercial premises at the Tuam Road Retail Centre, Tuam Road, Galway was broken into.

The Gardaí in Galway Garda Station would like to speak with anyone who may noticed any unusual activity in the Tuam Road area on Friday night/Saturday morning, or anyone who may have any information in relation to the break-in to contact investigating Gardaí at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Theft from MPV

Between 7.45pm and 10pm on Tuesday night, July 12 a white Renault Master van was broken into while parked outside an apartment at Gort Na Corribe, Headford Road, Galway.

During the break in to the vehicle a number of DeWalt cordless power tools, DeWalt batteries and chargers were stolen from the vehicle.

Anyone who may have noticed any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the Gort Na Corribe area between 7.45 pm and 10 pm on Tuesday night or anyone who may have been offered any of the DeWalt cordless power tools for sale is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

Between 10pm and midnight on Tuesday night July 12, a grey Audi E-Tron was broken into while parked outside a house at Rockbarton Road, Galway. During the break in a Microsoft Surface Laptop was stolen from the vehicle.

The Gardaí are asking anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in the Rockbarton Road area on Tuesday night or anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Microsoft Surface Laptop for sale is asked to contact Salthill Garda Station on 091-538000.

Criminal damage to car

Sometime between Saturday morning July 16 and Sunday morning July 17, the wing mirrors on a silver Skoda Octavia were damaged while parked on Henry Street, Galway.

Anyone that may have seen the damage being caused or anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Gardaí at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

Theft of pedal cycle

On Tuesday evening, July 12 at approximately 9.30pm the lock was cut and a blue Boardman men’s mountain bike was stolen from the railings at Church Lane, Galway.

The Gardaí are asking anyone that may have been in the area around Church Lane between 9pm and 9.30pm and may have seen the mountain bike being taken; or if anyone has been offered a blue Boardman men’s mountain bike for sale and believe it may be stolen, to contact them at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
