Burglary in Newcastle
Sometime between 9am on Monday June 13 and 10am on Wednesday June 15 a house at Cherry Park, Newcastle was broken into and damage caused to the rear of the property.
Gardaí in Galway would like to speak with anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the Cherry Park area between Monday night and Wednesday morning, or who may have any information in relation to this break-in.

Theft from vehicle in Ballybane
Shortly after 5pm on Friday June 17 a brown Skoda Octavia saloon car was broken into while parked outside a house at Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane.
During the break in to the vehicle a beige coloured Musto women’s jacket was stolen from the vehicle.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in the Rahylin Glebe area on Friday evening or anyone with any information on the stolen beige Musto jacket is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
Wheelie bins set alight in Oranmore
At approximately 3.20am on Friday June 17 gardaí in Oranmore received a report that wheelie bins had been set alight at Oakfields, Oranmore.
Gardaí in Oranmore are asking anyone who may have witnessed these bins being set alight shortly after 3am on Friday or anyone with any information that could help with the investigation to contact them at Oranmore Garda Station on 091-388030.
Appeal for witnesses to fire incidents in county
Gardaí in the Galway division are investigating a number of criminal damage by fire incidents that took place over the past week.
On Sunday June 19 at approximately 4.15am a vehicle was damaged and accelerant thrown at a house at Cuirt Na hAbhainn, Claregalway.
At approximately 3am on Monday June 20 damage was caused to a vehicle and property at Ballydavid Cottages, Athenry when an attempt was made to set fire to both.
Also on Tuesday June 21 at approximately 1.20am a house at Garran Ard, Doughiska was set alight and extensive damage caused to the property.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the Claregalway area on Sunday June 19, the Athenry area on Monday June 20 or the Doughiska area on Tuesday June 21 to please make contact.
Gardaí are further appealing to anyone who was travelling in any of these areas around the time of the incidents and may have camera and/or dash-cam footage to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
