Theft of pedal cycle
Between 7pm on Friday May 13 and 1am on Saturday May 14 two bikes were stolen from Spanish Arch area. A grey Dawes racer with blue handlebars and a black Fugi Absolute bike were taken. Anyone who may have information in relation to these thefts or who may have been offered these bikes for sale is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
On Thursday May 19 between 1.30pm and 4pm a blue bike was stolen from Edward Square in Galway. If any member of the public noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time please contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
Burglary
On Tuesday May 17 between 10am and 1pm a house was broken into in Clareview Park in Ballybane. Gardaí are appealing to members of the public who may have noticed any person acting suspiciously in the area to contact Galway Garda station on 091-538000.
On Wednesday May 18 in the early hours of the morning around 2am a house in Gleann Rua, in the Renmore area ofGalway was broken into. Two males were disturbed in the house and fled the area on foot. Anyone who may have seen any males acting suspiciously in the area or with any other information are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 53800 or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
Scooter stolen
Sometime between Sunday May 15 and Tuesday May 17 a 09-D sliver Honda scooter was stolen from Gort Na Glaise on Sandy Road in Galwway. Anyone who may have observed this theft or know the current whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to contact Garda Aofie Larkin at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
