Galway still favourites for Leinster title

Galway remain in top spot in the Leinster SHC final after beating Dublin 0-27 to 0-21 at Pearse Stadium on Saturday.

And as Henry Shefflin prepares for another showdown with his former manager Brian Cody, Galway are unchanged as the 4/5 favourites with BoyleSports. Kilkenny, too, also unchanged and remain Even money to deny the Tribesmen.

The Slaneysiders came away from Nowlan Park with a 1-22 to 1-18 victory to secure advancement to the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals and they have seen their odds shorten dramatically.

The Dubs finished level on points with Kilkenny and Wexford, but their inferior scoring difference meant that that they exited the All-Ireland series. The Yellowbellies have since been cut into 33/1 from 100/1 to win the All-Ireland SHC.
