Nora O’Malley has won Aramark Ireland’s Healthcare Chef of the Year 2022.
O’Malley is the chef at Áras Rónáin Community Nursing Unit, Kilronan, Inis Mór who looks after the nutritional needs of all residents in the only off-shore residential nursing Home in Ireland
A native of Leitir Móir, O’Malley won gold with her gluten free deconstructed Mikado consisting of a coconut crumb, a raspberry marshmallow, and a raspberry gel.
Thrilled to have been named Aramark’s Healthcare Chef of the Year 2022, O'Malley says: "This is the first culinary competition I have ever taken part in, so to come away with a win is a proud moment for me.”
Theresa Powell, person in charge, say it is clear recognition of all of Nora’s hard work throughout the year.
