Catch your laughs on Thursday nights at Tigh He-He

A pop-up comedy club, featuring the very best of Irish stand up comedy launched last week and will run on Thursdays until June 30.

Featuring the best of Irish stand up comedy, the series runs over eight Thursday nights in May and June. The shows will feature some of the finest stand up comedians on our little island, including Micky Bartlett, Sean Hegarty, John Colleary, Karl Spain, Enya Martin, Emma Doran, Andrew Ryan and Eric Lalor.

Each night will also feature some of the country’s rising stars and a different host each week. Tickets only €5 in advance, or procrastinate and pay €8 at the door.

Tonight, Thursday May 19, May, catch Big Micky Bartlett who is gathering both momentum and acclaim as one of Northern Ireland’s fastest rising stars on the live stand-up circuit.

Also a regular on BBC Northern Ireland panel shows “The Blame Game” and “Monumental”, hilarious Micky came to prominence after winning the BBC NI stand-up talent show “Find me the Funny”.

James Cadden, the 2019 winner of the ‘Dublin’s Next Top Comic’ award and a runner-up in the 2022 Show Me The Funny competition. James’ style has been described as darkly irreverent & energetically boisterous, so if you like your comedy with a bit of an edge, James is certainly one for you.

Shrini Kalwad, a comedian based in Dublin, hailing from India. His slice-of-life comedy style is inspired by his cross cultural experiences. He has recently found validation in reputed competitions like Cherry Comedy's Breakout Act and Show Me The Funny. When not on the stage, you would find him staring at a screen or hating on pigeons.

The night is hosted by Johnny Candon. One of Ireland’s most sought after comedians, Johnny regularly performs at comedy festivals all over the world.

He has delighted audiences as far afield as Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, The Middle East and throughout Europe. Johnny has toured with Ricky Gervais, John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman (“The Daily Show”, “Political Animal” ).
