Windsor is opening a new motor mall in Galway and investing more than €10 million in the development of an extended new facility at Monivea Road.
Designed to bring multiple vehicle brands together under one roof, the new Windsor Motor Mall Galway is the first facility of its kind outside Dublin. The company says it will provide motorists with a selection of some 500 new and used cars on site and access to more than 2,000 vehicles across the Windsor network.
Windsor claims it pioneered the motor mall concept in Ireland with the opening of the Windsor Motor Mall at Exit 5 on the M50 in 2019, and it is now rolling the concept out to other regions for the first time after selling in excess of 2,000 cars at the Dublin facility last year.
A total of 15 new jobs are being created at Windsor Motor Mall Galway with Nissan, Renault, Dacia, Mazda and Citroen marques, as well as the Windsor certified brand of approved used cars, among the first to be available at the newly developed premises.
The 120,000sqft site also includes a dedicated light commercial vehicle centre and after care workshop with 18 work bays, as well as modern showrooms featuring displays of personalisation and lifestyle products.
Windsor says its LCV centre will provide expert service to commercial van customers, including a full vehicle fit out service, while its large after care workshop offers greater convenience to customers serving their cars.
Jacinta Kilduff has been appointed general manager of the new Winsdor Motor Mall Galway, following a 25 year-long career at Windsor where she has fulfilled numerous management roles within its finance department.
