Galway basketballers Kara McCleane and Hazel Finn have been named on the provisional Irish U20 squad to compete in the European Championships.
The two players were instrumental in NUIG Mystics successful season, winning the missquote.ie division one league and the insuremyhouse.ie women's National Cup.
The two players are among a number of last season's Irish U18 team who are making the step up this season.
The Ireland team is competing in division A of the European Championships, alongside Serbia, Russia and Latvia in group D.
