Loughrea received a welcome jobs boost this week with the news that 60 jobs are to be created with the opening of the latest offering from the Plaza Group in the area.
The Loughrea Service Station will open in the coming months and will add to the area’s food oferings with a wide variety of dining option available inshore.
The extensive servcie station is in the process of being constructed on the Athenry Road in the town, adjacent to the Loughrea Hotel and Spa.
It comprises a vast variety of food offerings including Supermac’s, Papa John’s, SuperSubs, Mac’s Place Deli, Moo Parlour, Barista, retail and fuel.
There will also be a Drive Thru facility for passing drivers and indoor seating for up to 90 diners.
The new service station development shows the burgeoning growth of the Plaza Group, and following the opening of the Tuam N17 Plaza last month, brings to nine the number of outlets in that stable.
