Galway’s Equal Ireland welcomes two new universities

Welcoming the establishment of two new universities, AUT and TUS, Eddie Higgins and Nuala Keher, EQUAL Ireland directors, stated: "We are happy to be education partners with these two major universities and we welcome their dedication to access, equality and inclusion."

If you missed out on earlier education opportunities and have always wanted to complete a university programme, now is your time. Equal Ireland is currently offering places on its Access and BA programme in business, enterprise, and community development. By signing up at www.equalireland.ie you will start on the path that has led more than 1,500 people to gain a degree that opened the door to many more of life’s chances. Mairead, a recent graduate, said: "You gave me a chance and had faith when I had no qualifications, you have fantastic tutors, the much needed support and so much more. You gave me the confidence to push on, so I applied for a fairly senior role and got word during the week I was successful. Thank you for giving me the confidence and skills to proceed even at this late stage in life."

Equal Ireland classes are affordable, flexible, online or face to face, and timed to suit you and your lifestyle. Nuala Keher, academic director, said: "We recognise that good quality education has the power to change the life of a person, a community, and the future of the planet. It is a fundamental human right of every woman, man, and child – no matter who they are, or where they live."
