Galway International Arts Festival announces Friends Campaign 2022

Galway International Arts Festival is calling on businesses and individuals to support its 2022 festival, which returns to its summer time slot this year from July 11-24.

Announcing details of its 2022 Friends Campaign, ahead of the 45th annual Festival, GIAF said Friends will play an important role in helping deliver a programme of world-class events over two incredible weeks in Galway this July.

GIAF is a non-for-profit organisation which relies on a mix of state funding, box office, sponsorship and the support of its business and individual Friends to make up Festival costs.

Friends membership, which starts from as little as €250 for businesses and €150 for individuals, comes with a host of benefits, including priority booking, tickets and festival merchandise.

GIAF Friends Manager Aisling O’Sullivan said the Festival has developed lasting friendships with many businesses and individuals over the last number of years, especially over the past year when we looked to each other for support. I look forward to building on these friendships in 2022 and to developing new ones.”

Galway International Arts Festival acknowledges the support of its principal funding agencies, The Arts Council, Fáilte Ireland, Galway City Council, its Education Partner NUI Galway, its Energy Partner Flogas, and Drinks Partner Heineken®.
