Helen Hancock’s charity concert for UNICEF Ireland

Oranmore soprano will be joined by guitarist Marco Ramelli in The Mick Lally Theatre

HELEN HANCOCK, the acclaimed Oranmore based soprano will next week give a concert to raise funds for UNICEF Ireland.

The concert will take place in The Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane, on Sunday April 3 at 3pm, for a programme of works by John Dowland and Handel, and songs by Schubert.

Helen will be joined by guitarist Marco Ramelli, a composer and guitar lecturer at TU Dublin, and an artistic director of music festivals in Italy and Ireland, including The Festival Corde d’Autunno in Milan.

“We look forward to lifting hearts and souls in this concert,” said Helen. “We are running the programme without an interval to allow the audience to really settle into the serene atmosphere of the Mick Lally Theatre.”
