Niamh Regan - new EP out tomorrow

In The Meantime features new track ‘Late Nights’ and a duet with Ciaran Lavery

COUNTY GALWAY singer-songwriter, Niamh Regan, releases her new EP, In The Meantime, tomorrow, Wednesday March 23, digitally and as a CD.

The EP, produced by Alex Borwick, contains four tracks, ‘Late Nights’, ‘Love You Senseless’, ‘Happy Again’, and the duet with Ciaran Lavery, ‘Winter In Eden’.

The songs on In The Meantime were written while Niamh was confined in Kilrickle, east Galway, during the pandemic. She describes the EP as “exploring themes of acceptance, uncertainty, independence, family guilt, silence and ordinary acts of love”.

Niamh says ‘Late Nights’ is about “navigating family guilt, growing up and leaving behind little bits of yourself as you enter a new chapter of thinking”; ‘Love you Senseless’ is about trying to help someone who does not want to be helped; while ‘Happy Again’; and ‘Winter In Eden’ was co-written with Northern Irish singer songwriter Ciaran Lavery, the pair creating the song over Zoom.
