Sailing in a warm breeze.

King Canute…he put on great outdoor shows.

Which living person do you most admire?

Liam Cullinan, the man with the three wheeled bike.

Which is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Impatience.

What is your greatest extravagance?

My battered old car.

What is your favourite journey?

The north road from Galway to Carna.

On what occasion do you lie?

I am very straight, but I do obscure the truth at times to move on.

Which living person do you most despise?

Can’t bring myself to waste time on thinking about the countless villains in the world.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My family.

When and where were you happiest?

New Year’s Day 1988, went swimming in the Pacific and nearly drowned in a riptide. I survived to have the best Burrito and Beer ever!

Which talent would you most like to have?

A singing voice.

What is your current state of mind?

Optimistic, excited, fearful, anxious as always.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

To be still working as an actor.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

Polar Bear…always cold.

What is your most treasured possession?

My passport.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Lack of shelter and warmth.

What is your favourite occupation?

Designing the house that I will never build.

Independance.
