THE PENULTIMATE heat of the popular Show Me The Funny comedy competition takes place this Monday, February 21 at The King’s Head Bar.
Ten more comedic newcomers will fight it out for the chance to appear in the grand final on Monday March 7. The overall winner will earn the right to perform on the Comedy Stage at this year’s Electric Picnic, as well as two VIP weekend tickets to the festival itself.

“The standard of performers is higher than ever,” said Show Me The Funny host and MC, Gerry Mallon, “which is amazing considering all of them would not have performed live for more than two years…and it is truly uplifting to be in a room full of laughter after all we've been through.”
Special guest on the night is the brilliant Karl Spain. Tickets cost €5 (includes a free pint of Bulmers ) and are available at the door at 8pm.
