Cllr Andrew Reddington has welcomed the progression of works at Caherlistrane village for the extension of the current footpath towards Caherlistrane Church.
“In December 2020, I made a substantial submission to the engineering staff from Galway County Council for Active Travel applications in local villages.
“I want to thank the local engineering team from the Tuam area office for engaging with present and past councillors in developing the village of Caherlistrane and ultimately applying for these grants. “The Active Travel allocation is making a real difference to towns and villages across the county and we can see this in Caherlistane,” he said.
