Monster Organic Ball ticket could send you to the sun

The wettest summer on record has left us all a bit miserable and the hope for a hot September seems to be slipping further away.

So for most people, the promise of guaranteed sunshine at a beachside island resort seems like an offer too good to refuse. Lucky ticket holders to this year's Monster Organic Ball have the opportunity to escape to the sun this autumn, thanks to Tenerife Holidays and Global Group Ireland.

Each ticket holder is entered into a prize draw, and each week one lucky individual will win a luxury four-star holiday to Tenerife, staying in the exclusive Playa Fanabe resort.

Anyone who doesn't win will be automatically entered into the following weeks' draws. There are only 750 tickets for the ball, so the odds of winning are high, and the sooner tickets are bought, the greater the chance of jetting off to the sun, while also raising money for charity.

For the last four years, the Monster Organic Ball's team of organisers have worked to raise money for AIDS Partnership with Africa. Last year's event raised a whopping €100,000, which can ultimately save more than 18,500 children's lives from poverty, illness and death.

Fr Owen Lambert, founder of the charity said, "AIDS is like a slow progressive tsunami that never ends." Across Africa more than 8,000 men, women, and children lose their lives each day to the treatable AIDS virus, and events such as the Organic Monster Ball can have such a huge impact in preventing these lives from being lost.

For those of you who enjoy socialising, the Monster Organic Ball is also an important event in the yearly social calendar. It provides the opportunity to indulge in a gastronomic organic feast, including spit roast pig, full free bar, and 10 hours of live music, entertainment, and dancing all under one roof.

This promises to be a spectacular event thanks to the generosity of its sponsors, including C&F Tooling Group, Cashla Quarries, John Nash and Associates, Curley Holdings, Newells Roofing, Liam Madden Nurseries, and Tossie Mongan.
