An online payroll course that is exempt from course fees will start on February 14 at GRETB Training Centre in Mervue, Galway. The course duration is eight weeks.
This online payroll course will give you extensive knowledge of how to process payroll both manually and using Sage Micropay, a common office payroll system used by many businesses in Ireland
The course is divided into two sections.
The manual section of the course is comprehensive and covers all of the key payroll areas needed to learn in order to effectively process a business payroll.
In the computerised section the lessons include how to get started’ using Sage Micropay, how to set up company information and employee details, how to set up hourly rates and payments in order to process pay and produce associated reports, and gaining a thorough understanding of PAYE modernisation.
Certification is by Pitman and includes Payroll Award, Excel Expert, HR Essentials, Excel, and Payroll - Manual and Computerised.
