Galway will travel to Darver on Saturday to complete their Walsh Cup campaign against Antrim (2pm ), having suffered a 3-29 to 0-19 trimming at the hands of Dublin last weekend in Parnell Park.
Mattie Kenny put out a more experienced side than Henry Shefflin was maybe anticipating as Eoghan O’Donnell, Chris Crummey, and Donal Burke were drafted into the starting 15 before throw-in and all three were key contributors.
Galway had made eight changes to the side who had beaten Offaly, with Seán Loftus, Darren Morrissey, Niall Burke, and Evan Niland all included. Galway struggled to contain the Dublin attack throughout and trailed by 1-16 to 0-8 by half time.
