CAOIMHE AND Séamus Uí Fhlatharta, the award winning singers and musicians from Connemara, will perform at TradFest Temple Bar 2022 later this month.
TradFest Temple Bar runs from January 26 to 30, with the Uí Fhlathartas performing at Collins Barracks at 1pm on Thursday January 27.
Séamus and Caoimhe were born into a musical family in An Áird Mhóir, in the Gaeltacht region of Connemara. Deeply immersed in traditional Irish music at a very young age, the pair have developed into accomplished multi-instrumentalists, singers, and dancers.
They are noted for their unique arrangements of well-known standards, offering interesting vocal arrangements and harmonisation. Both are multi All-Ireland winning performers who keep their language and heritage at the heart of their musical endeavors.
TradFest Temple Bar will also feature performances from Fairport Convention, Peggy Seeger, Wallis Bird, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Dervish, Altan, 4 Men and a Dog, Stocktons Wing, Ralph McTell, Kíla, and others.
