Penelope Isles - Galway gig in February

Band to play Róisín Dubh as part of three date Irish tour next month

PENELOPE ISLES, the alt-rock/indie/electro/psychedelic band centered around siblings Jack and Lily Wolter, will play the Róisín Dubh on Friday February 4.

The Irish tour, which will also take in Dublin and Limerick, follows the release of their second album, Which Way To Happy, which came out in November via Bella Union.

Two singles have been taken from the album so far, 'Sailing Still' and ‘Iced Gems’. Lily’s ‘Sailing Still’ charts the life of a relationship to a slow-burn and sorrowed soundscape of dulcitones, cello, and violin. ‘Iced Gems’ is a sorrowful lament, played out over the gentlest of fluttery keyboards and experimental electronic sounds.
