Gangsters, cowboys, and coyotes - new American themed bar opens tomorrow

Hanging out with gangsters and cowboys in Galway is par for the course if you are at a Fianna Fáil meeting, but put some coyotes into the mix, and give it an American theme, and suddenly you are into something completely different.

If The Godfather, westerns, or Coyote Ugly are your kind of films, if America is a country that fascinates you, then Coyote’s - Ireland’s first purpose built American themed bar - on Forster Street is the place to go, when it is officially opened tomorrow at 6pm.

The bar has five themed areas. You can dance and the night away in the Coyote Ugly Bar; live the life of a mobster in the gangster bar; take in the flair and sip the finest cocktails in the Cocktails and Dreams bar; test your stamina on the bucking bronco; watch sport on big screens in the sports bar; or just go crazy on the dance floor.

The Coyote themed bar features professionally trained dancers and singers jumping onto the bar when you least expect it. In the gangster bar there will be people in gangster dress as well as signed scripts of Scarface and The Godfather adorning the bar. Hollywood signed memorabilia will be on the walls of the Cocktails and Dreams bar.

Coyote’s will be open from 9pm to 2am on Wednesday and Thursday; from 5pm on Fridays with karaoke sessions. It will also be open from midday both Saturday and Sunday (with The Sunday Rodeo Nights test ). Private parties and events are also welcome.
