STARTING IN January, the Galway Arts Centre is offering aspiring poets a choice of three online poetry workshops, facilitated by the acclaimed poet Kevin Higgins.
There will be classes for beginners and advanced levels, and all classes will take place via Zoom. Full details of how the workshop will function online will be explained during the first session.
Classes on Tuesdays (7pm to 8.30pm, starting January 25 ) and Fridays (2pm to 3.30pm, starting January 28 ) are open to complete beginners as well as those who have been writing for some time.
Classes on Thursdays (2pm to 4pm, starting January 27 ) are for those who have participated in poetry workshops before or had poems published.
