ANNA MULLARKEY, the exciting Galway indie-electro vocalist/composer, and The ConTempo Quartet, will be among the performers at the next 3 Kinds of Music concerts.
The concerts, organised by the Galway Music Residency, will take place at The Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane.
This Saturday, December 11, will see a musical exploration of the climate change crises from guest curator Aengus Hackett. The performers will be uilleann piper, pipe maker, and former botany professor, Eugene Lambe; jazz pianist, Greg Felton; and The ConTempo Quartet.
On Saturday December 18, guest curator Anna Mullarkey will perform a set showcasing her unique weaving of electronics, piano, and voice. Galway musician Emma Lohan, will also feature, showcasing her dreamy melodic folk-pop, as will ConTempo, performing music by Philip Glass.
Shows start at 3pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. The shows are suitable for all ages.
