SPANISH ARTIST Elena Moreno explores the rugged landscapes of the West of Ireland, where she has lived for close to a decade, through her atmospheric paintings.
Ms Moreno’s latest works on nowe on display at Anton’s Café, Fr Griffin Road, and the exhibition will run up to Christmas.

Ms Moreno studied history of art, fine art, and restoration between Valencia and Italy before settling in Galway. She has been a full member of Engage Art Studios since 2017.
She is primarily a landscape painter, working mainly in oils. However, she is currently experimenting with new mediums such as cold wax/oil, through which she recreates the vibrant skies, textured rocks, and rugged landscapes of the west of Ireland.
