Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses to burglaries which took place in Galway city, Athenry, and Ballinasloe.
On Monday November 16 at approximately 7.40pm, a male was disturbed while breaking into an apartment at Bothar Na Mban. He is described as being in his 20s, around 5ft 10 inches in height, of slim build, and wearing a black woollen hat, a dark top and dark jeans.
Gardaí in Galway are asking anyone that may have been in the Prospect Hill or Headford Road area on Monday evening November 16 and may have seen the male described or anyone with any information in relation to this burglary to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

Sometime between 5.30pm on Tuesday November 16 and 8am on Wednesday November 17 a business property at Castlelambert, Athenry was broken into. An orange Stihl pole saw, an orange Stihl hedge trimmer, an orange Stihl chainsaw with safety equipment, two green Makita grinders, a yellow Dewalt drill, a Felco lopper shears and a red Tanika pole trimmer, were among the items taken from the property during the course of the burglary.
Gardaí in Athenry are appealing to anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the Castlelambert area on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning or anyone who may have been offered any of the stolen tools for sale to contact them at Athenry Garda Station on 091-844016.

Sometime between 8.45am and 6pm on Tuesday November 16 a house at Lismanny, Laurencetown, Ballinasloe was broken into and extensive damage caused to the property.
During the course of the break in a large amount of jewellery was stolen from the property. This jewellery has a great deal of sentimental value to the owners and the gardaí are asking anyone who may have seen any person acting suspiciously in the Laurencetown area on Tuesday November 16 or anyone with any information in relation to the stolen jewellery to contact them at Ballinasloe Garda Station on 09096-31890.
