KATS, THE Knocknacarra Amateur Theatre Society is back and will stage two comedy one act plays in the Galway Bay Hotel from December 1 to 3.
KATS will perform Check Please by Jonathan Rand and Last Panto in Knocknacarra by David Tristram - the sequel to Last Tango in Knocknacarra. The plays are directed by Richard Brown and Geraldine Holmes. Supper will be served between the shows and there will be live music from Galway band, Opacas.
“The shows are funny and very entertaining,” said Linsey Cant, chair of KATS. “We have the additional bonus of a musical interlude by the Opacas, a group who formed virtually online during the lockdown. For a flavour of their work you can hear their songs on Youtube, filmed to promote different towns in Galway and you might even recognise a few members of KATS in these engaging videos."
Tickets will only be sold online via shop.nuigsocs.ie Seating will be restricted to 100 patrons per night. Early booking is essential. Doors open at 7.30pm.
