Gardai seek witnesses to thefts in the city and Clarinbridge

Medical devices stolen in Clarinbridge, cash stolen at NUI Galway

Gardaí are asking to speak to witnesses, or people with any information about two thefts - one in Clarinbridge, and another in Galway city.

In Oranmore are seeking the public assistance in relation to a theft of a number of medical devices from a business premises in Clarinbridge.

On Thursday morning September 9 between 7.45am and 9am, just after they were delivered to the premises by a courier, a number of small medical devices were taken.

Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed this theft taking plac,e or anyone who may have seen any persons acting suspiciously in the Clairnbridge are,a to make contact Oranmore Garda Station on 091 - 388030.

Cash stolen

On Tuesday October 26, at around 1.15pm, a quantity of cash was stolen from a black backpack outside the college bar at NUI Galway. Gardaí are looking to speak with a male and female who were observed in the area at the time of the theft.

The male is described as being in his 20s, slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a bright blue jacket over it. The female is described as also being in her 20s wearing jeans, a maroon top and a grey woollen hat. Witnesses are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 - 538000.
