The final four in the Galway Senior Hurling Champions sees champions St Thomas' up against Gort in this year's semi-finals, while Craughwell will face Clarinbridge.
It is a tough draw for Gort who will face the favourites who are bidding for a fourth successive senior crown.
St Thomas' enjoyed a comfortable 3-29 to 1-9 victory over Kilconieron, who were surprise semi-finalists in their first year at his level.
The champions were just too efficient, racking up a 1-14 to 1-7 half-time lead - Conor Cooney the key man for St Thomas with a personal tally of 1-16.
Kilconieron's cause was not helped when they unfortunately lost Martin Ryan with a serious injury as Eanna Burke continued to extend the champions lead, producing 1-7 from play.
Gort edged Cappataggle by a point, 0-19 to 0-18 in their quarter-final - just a point also separating the sides at half-time. Aidan Helebert bagged 0-11 for his side, while Liam Collins ensured last year's semi-finalists stayed in the fight with 10 points until the end.
Clarinbridge produced a more comfortable win over Tommy Larkins, thanks to a first-half goal from Cian Salmon.
Although Clarinbridge led by four at the break, Larkins narrowed the gap with a Jason Flynn strike, but the south Galway outfit finished strongly, winning 1-17 to 1-12
Craughwell, who now face the champions, were impressive winners over Kilnadeema-Leitrim. Leading by 0-16 to 0-4 at half-time, they finished comfortable winners by 0-27 to 0-9.
The four sides will be eager to impress new hurling boss Henry Shefflin who was announced as the new senior hurling manger late last week
In the intermediate championship Meelick Eyrecourt will face Killimor, while Rahoon Newcastle take on Moycullen.
