Athenry Camogie Club is launching a special 'Freedom Day Cash Bonus Draw' to celebrate the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions on October 22. And up for grabs is a cash prize of €2,000.
Committee member Cathy Dillon says as the country looks forward to the lifting of all Covid19 restrictions, the club decided on a novel way to celebrate this historic day.
"We are calling it the Freedom Day Cash Bonus Draw," she says."How do you win? Any person who purchases a ticket for our Win-A-House-And-Car draw by midnight on October 21 is in with a chance of winning a cash prize of €2,000."
The lucky winner will be chosen on Freedom Day October 22.
"A cash win of €2,000 would be a perfect prize for anybody thinking of Christmas, or perhaps it could go towards a well-deserved holiday abroad. Everybody is looking forward to a return to normality and we think this cash prize could be the perfect start for the lucky winner."
Tickets can be purchased on www.winahouseandcar.ie, or at the club’s pop-up shop on Northgate Street, which is open each Friday morning.
