Public consultation on the proposed Millar’s Lane upgrade has started.
A brochure will be distributed to homes along the route with drawings available from the Galway City Council website.
Cllr Donal Lyons has welcomed the proposals for an upgrade. “As a councillor for the West Ward, I am delighted that Galway City Council proposes a major upgrade to Millar’s Lane,” he says.
“This is a fantastic local amenity and with the proposed upgrade which includes a permanent surface together with public lighting it will be welcomed by all those who walk the lane on a daily basis.
“A brochure on the proposed upgrade will be distributed this week to homes adjacent to the lane.
Cllr Lyons concluded: “It’s important that people make their views known through the public consultation process which is open up to October 22.”
