On Monday September 25 at approximately 12.15am a young man was walking through Eyre Square close to the Tourist Information Kiosk when it is alleged he was assaulted by another male described as being in his 20’s and wearing all dark clothing.
There were a large number of people in Eyre Square at the time and gardaí are anxious to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or the alleged assault taking place.
