Get moving with Salsa Bay Galway

If you missed social interaction and exercise during the months of lockdown, Salsa Bay Galway has great news for you - new regular indoor classes start next Monday, October 4 in the Commercial Boat Club in Galway city centre, and there is still time to join.

The classes commencing in October are salsa (three levels ), bachata, kizomba, and semba.

Salsa Bay is the longest-running Latin dance school in the west, promoting Afro-Latin dance, music, and culture in Ireland since 2007.

The school collaborates with some of the most renowned Latin dancers in the world and offers a wide variety of classes suitable for beginners and more experienced dancers.

All classes are run by Salsa Bay founder, Pedro Alberto, a qualified dance, capoeira, and fitness instructor with more than 20 years of experience teaching children and adults all over the world in schools, universities (including NUIG and GMIT ), dance congresses, and governmental social projects.

His extensive training in a variety of artistic fields enables him to help students achieve a greater understanding of Afro-Latin rhythms, musicality, and body motion. His passion and emotions for music are evident and contagious.

Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. It also has a wide range of physical and mental benefits. Moreover, there is no previous experience needed to join, and no partner required.

Advance booking is strictly required.
