O’Donnellan & Joyce selling Connemara properties at record prices

O’Donnellan & Joyce has recorded an incredible year of sales in the Connemara region since the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March 2020. With remote working now the norm for many people across the country, people previously working full time in the capital set their eyes on Connemara and the beauty they can avail of on their doorstep.

The last year has seen properties being snapped up in Connemara as soon as they go on the market, with the surge in demand seeing some rural homes selling more than twice their guide price and exceeding clients' expectations. Colm O’Donnellan of O’Donnellan & Joyce said: "During lockdown there was surge in demand for properties in holiday hotspots close to the sea as people retreat from urban life, with properties close to the sea commanding huge demand over pre-Covid times."

With demand outstripping supply, O’Donnellan & Joyce has had several people bidding on each property it has brought to the market in Connemara over the last year. Below is a sample of properties sold in Connemara by O’Donnellan & Joyce.
