Gardaí in Tuam have appealed for witnesses to come forward following a violent altercation at a cemetery in Tuam last week.
A large number of people were involved in a fight in the cemetery during a funeral at about 4pm on the afternoon of Wednesday September 22. A number of people were seriously injured in the incident and were taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment.
Gardaí in Tuam are appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone with camera footage of the incident, to make contact with investigators. Anyone with information is asked to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093 70840, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
