A woman in her late forties was killed on Tuesday afternoon in a single vehicle road traffic collision in South Galway.
The mother of two, 48-year-old Geraldine Bugler from Looscaun was the only occupant of the car, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred on the Woodford to Portumna road at Drumnamuckla, at approximately 3.45 pm.
