Stephen Lally's improving Galway WFC host Treaty United in the WNL at Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday (4pm ).
Busy preparing for next month's FAI Cup semi-final against Shelbourne, Lally is hoping Galway WFC can deliver another solid performance.
Five Galway WFC first team players have been on international duty at U19 and senior level this week.
"It will be Thursday before we have our squad back training fully," Lally says.
"We are looking forward to the game obviously, everybody should be pushing now we have two weeks to go until the cup semi-final. We obviously have one eye on the cup semi-final, but we need to try to get points on the board too."
That cup encounter at Tolka Park will be a revealing fixture with Lally encouraged about Galway WFC's development.
"It will be a massive occasion, they are all fighting for places, they are trying to get into the squad for that one," he adds. "It is up to themselves.
"The progress has been great, you are still trying to balance everything. I am sure it is the same for everyone, it is just the times we are living in at the moment with Covid it is very difficult."
