Eva’s Echo to declare, ‘It’s True I Love You All So Much’

Play by Jenni Nikinmaa will explore mental health, self harm, family dynamics, and relationships

IT’S TRUE I Love You All So Much, a new digital, interactive, theatrical experience, from Galway theatre company, Eva's Echo, will explore mental health, self harm, family dynamics, and relationships.

This play, by Finnish playwright Jenni Nikinmaa [pictured below], is the latest venture into digital theatre from the award-winning Eva’s Echo.

The play is interactive and encourages audiences to engage with theatre in an intimate and personal way. The audience watching is in front of their screens, disconnected from each other, and disconnected from the performance, performer, and the stage, which are the same thing - the screen.

.

The audience is part of the process, the part that is watching how self-harm and madness perform themselves.

The play is directed by Rena Bryson, who has also designed the digital stage. The cast is Jemma Curran, Sarah Fahy, Peter O'Brien, Siobhán Hickey, Hazel Doolan, and Sabrina Kelleher. Costume design is by Julie Quinn, sound design is by Kate McBrearty, and the film is by Brian Waldron. The play’s dramaturgy was completed by Sarah Hoover and supported by Galway Theatre Festival.

It’s True I Love You All So Much will run from September 30 to October 2 at 8 pm. Tickets are available at https://evasecho.com/its-true-i-love-you-all-so-much/
