Choosing a course is one of the most important decisions you will make, so why not call in to Galway Community College during its open day Fridays this September and get the information you need to make it correctly.
The college is inviting anyone interested in doing a full-time further education course to visit and view what GCC has to offer in terms of courses and facilities. Situated at Moneenageisha Junction, it offers full-time courses in a wide variety of career areas. There are no CAO points required for entry onto these one-year courses, starting this month. All courses are designed as a step towards skilled employment, in preparation for an apprenticeship, or progression to further and higher education, aimed at Leaving Certificate graduates, mature learners, and anyone finding themselves unemployed or facing uncertain job security, this is the perfect time to reevaluate their options regarding their future career paths.
This year GCC will offer a mix of blended learning, where most modules will be taught on campus, while offering online learning for some modules where possible. Most courses offer work experience, this is an opportunity if unsure of your career path, to taste a vocational area before committing to a longer course. These courses are SUSI funded - see the SUSI website for full details.
The registration fee for a full-time course in GCC is €175, more information on fees can be accessed on galwaycc.ie Apply online now at www.galwaycc.ie for September 2021, for a course in your preferred area: business, secretarial, retail pharmacy, graphic design, IT, film, music and theatre, social care, sport, science, motor technology, or horticulture.
