Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre, Galway's oldest language school and a Department of Education recognised training institute, is now in its 34th year of business. It is a quality school with Cambridge Exams Centre recognition, EAQUALS, Quality English, ACELS, and QQI accreditation. The school has just successfully completed reengagement and accreditation with Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI ) as a higher education provider, a guarantee of quality and standard.
The school is Ireland's first provider of QQI TESOL TEFL courses (Level 7 award ). Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre offers the most number of TEFL courses per year. The centre has links to more than 120 Irish schools recruiting teachers.
"We are so happy to be Ireland's first accredited provider of the QQI TESOL Level 7 TEFL award and encourage anyone interested in becoming a teacher of English as a second or other language to take this award, the best qualification there is," said Patrick Creed, school director.
The school is also returning to teaching evening foreign language classes and evening part time English language courses from September 21.
An open day with free information on all courses, for anyone who wants to drop by, is being held on September 21.
