Galway Executive Skillnet has launched its autumn training schedule with some exciting new programmes to help businesses emerge “from survival to growth” post-Covid.
Galway Executive Skillnet is a training network with a strong track record of delivering quality, relevant, flexible, accessible, training programmes. Together with grant support from its funding agency, Skillnet Ireland, it offers exceptional value for money to local SMEs looking to upskill.
According to network manager, Carl Blake: “Businesses need to maximise their performance to survive. So we offer cutting-edge relevant programmes on key individual skills, eg, resilience, personal effectiveness, IT skills, etc, and of course management and communication skills.”
However Mr. Blake also points out: “The autumn schedule focuses not just on how businesses can survive, but also on growth. A key element of this is some exciting new programmes on strategy and innovation, leadership, and sales and marketing.” These programmes are targeted at a range of employees, from senior managers down to emerging talent. They include the recently piloted and hugely successful SMACHT peer-to-peer support programme for CEOs, programmes to develop future leaders, and Sales 101 and Marketing 101 for beginners on how to sell, find new customers, and drive revenues.
As well as supporting businesses and employees, Galway Executive Skillnet has another exciting programme to support jobseekers looking to return to work. The next CareerMAP4.0 blended programme with mentoring support starts in October, and has supported 88 per cent of previous participants find employment.
