NUIG has supplied high quality, reusable, washable masks for every student in NUIG which the SU will be giving out over the next few weeks leading up to first year orientation.

The masks which will be available for collection from the Aula Maxima in the Quadrangle building on campus until the end of September. After this, masks will be available from the SU office.

The SU will also distribute its ‘Rudaí Álainn’ reusable tote bags to students which will include the Welcome to NUIG magazine, along with lots of freebies and student offers.

“We are delighted to partner with the university to ensure all students are ready for the start of the semester,” said NUIG SU president, Róisín Nic Lochlainn. “We encourage all students to wear face coverings to stop the spread of Covid-19 and to look after each other. This is just one of the important ways in which we can all join the fight against the spread of Coronavirus and ensure our safe, permanent return to campus.”
