Skills to Advance with GRETB

Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB ) has a number of highly funded online business courses available this autumn. These courses are available to employees and employers to upskill and provide relevant, valuable, skills for today’s workplace.

Under the Government funded Skills to Advance initiative, employers can avail of this funded training to help and benefit their organisation, which can help to improve their employees' skills level, respond to the changing nature of business, or help take advantage of emerging opportunities. Upskilling staff is central to delivering long term sustainable growth and adapting to the rapid changes businesses are facing.

GRETB is offering online programmes in supervisory management and also leadership and management, providing supervisory staff with valuable people management skills such as performance management. Providing staff with these valuable skills will not only enhance your business but also improve performance metrics and help to develop your workforce’s agility.

GRETB also has online programmes in customer service in industry and training and development, which are highly funded (subject to eligibility criteria ). These online programmes are designed to provide accessible training solutions to fit around busy working lives.

GRETB strongly encourages employers within Galway and Roscommon to get in contact and take advantage of this great opportunity to upskill staff. Further details are available at skillstoadvance.ie or contact Skills To Advance coordinator Amanda Percy at [email protected] or 091 706276.
