Pride, sauce, and sass - The Dirty Circus is back

Galway’s much loved burlesque and cabaret night returns for Galway Community Pride and ‘The Grand Auld Stretch’

THIS WEEK is Galway Community Pride and there is no better way to celebrate than with the welcome return of The Dirty Circus burlesque and cabaret night.

One of Galway’s favourite shows, The Dirty Circus will bring its brand of sauce, sleaze, sexiness, decadence, and glamour to Nimmo’s Pier (does that make it an ‘end of the pier show? ) this Saturday, August 14, with doors from 8.30pm.

Entitled, Dirty Circus Grand Pride, the show will feature international pole artist Spreadie Mercury; the iconic drag king Slick ‘O; the award-winning burlesque performer and dancer, Daria Decollete; the powerhouse soulful vocals of Barbara Vixen; the gender bending Miss Shelby Yours; burlesque from The Temptress; and dance with leading Galway dancer and choreographer, Declan Gardiner. The MC will be singer and comedian, Kristin Kapelli.

There will also be prizes on the night for the best dressed audience members, so, as ever, ‘Ladies wear your finest, and gentlemen, dress like gentlemen!”.

This is a ‘Galway Comedy Festival and The Dirty Circus presents…’ event. It is part of the Galway Community Pride festival and the Róisín Dubh’s ‘The Grand Auld Stretch’ events.

Due to Covid19 measures, this event is seated. Tickets are €20 per person (sold in pods of four or six ) and are available via www.roisindubh.net
