Following its recent arrival in the City, Campion Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Galway native, Jeff Spelman as local office leader for the company’s branch on Merchant’s Road, Galway City.
Jeff Spelman is currently a Senior Commercial Business Development Executive with Campion Insurance, one of Ireland’s largest insurance brokerages. Jeff’s new role at Campion will see him lead the Commercial team at their Galway office. Having begun his career in insurance almost 15 years ago, Jeff has held a number of senior positions and previously worked at a well-known insurance firm in Galway, where he oversaw the successful merger with another Galway-based insurance broker Future Insurance.
Jeff also holds a number of professional qualifications, including a Professional Diploma in Insurance (CIP ) from the Insurance Institute of Ireland and a Bachelor of Business from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. Having spent his career working and living in Galway, Jeff’s innate understanding of the local area, combined with his wealth of experience as an insurance professional means he is a natural fit to lead Campion’s team in their Galway branch.
Founded in 1984, Campion Insurance has a presence in 12 locations across Ireland, to include Merchant’s Road in Galway City, and the company employs over 180 people.
