GALWAY STREET Club’s vocalist, James Dillon, has released his debut solo single, ‘Radio Caroline’, as a taster for his forthcoming debut EP.
A tune to nod the head to on a summer's day before marvelling at the stretch is the evening, ‘Radio Caroline’ has touches of two of Dillon’s key influences, Mac Demarco and Julia Jacklin.
Dillion, originally from Clonmel, started a busking career in Galway in 2013 before joining the mighty Galway Street Club, and performing at the Shepherds Bush Empire, London; O2 Liverpool; Electric Picnic; Galway International Arts Festival; and venues such as the Róisín Dubh, Whelans, Dolan’s, and Brixton Jamm.
