Keep studying French, or take it up. The new term at the French Institute starts on May 17.
The French Institute is Galway’s French language school located in the Bridge Mills since 2005. It has an excellent reputation thanks to the dedication of its teachers who are qualified native speakers with extensive teaching experience.
All classes have successfully continued during the various lockdowns, through online video-conference teaching. The institute's students have been extremely satisfied with the classes provided, and have enjoyed the convenience of learning from home.
The French Institute is now offering a six-week term of online summer courses for adults, starting on the week of May 17. The classes are both useful for everyday life and enjoyable. The institute proposes morning and evening courses at four levels: beginners, improvers, intermediate, and advanced. These are the perfect way to enhance your career, to further your personal development, or to get ready for when we will finally be able to travel again.
Thanks to the institute's special intensive online courses, taking place over two weeks in June, secondary school students can catch up and prepare for next year’s classes and exams, with the benefits of second-to-none teaching and support by highly knowledgeable and experienced native teachers. Two courses are planned, one for the Junior Cycle (second and third years ) and one for the Senior Cycle (fifth and sixth years ).
The institute also proposes a five-week course for primary school children (aged nine to 12 years ). These will take place on Saturdays for an hour starting on May 22. The teacher will keep children engaged and actively learning, while having great fun in French.
