A seminar on tax and commercial issues for owners and managers of small and medium enterprises will be held in Ballybane Enterprise Centre, Galway on Wednesday, May 20 at 6pm.
Entitled ‘Opportunities and Pitfalls for SMEs in a Downturn – practical tax and commercial advice for start up or existing SMEs”, the seminar will be delivered by Laura Lynch, a director with Mazars Tierney, the Galway branch of Mazars, one of Ireland’s leading professional services firms.
Topics to be covered include the recent changes in the tax code and implications for small to medium businesses, including sole traders and companies, tips for managing cash flow and tax pitfalls to be aware of and avoided.
Sources of finance, grant aid, and other resources available to start up or expanding businesses will also be discussed, including practical advice on how to protect and grow a business in these challenging times, and guidance on how to structure the business in a commercially and tax efficient way.
