GALWAY UNITED 2 UCD 2
Substitute Padraic Cunningham headed a late equaliser for Galway United, who divided the SSE Airtricity League first division spoils against UCD at Eamonn Deacy Park.
United were forced to come from behind twice during an eventful encounter which showcased UCD's ability.
On the stroke of half-time UCD pounced to score as Colm Whelan notched his fifth of the season following a Harvey O'Brien delivery.
Three minutes after the restart United restored parity as Shane Doherty's throw-in caused panic in the UCD defence with Ruairi Keating eventually rattling the Students' net.
UCD, though, hit the front again on 71 as Liam Kerrigan's wicked corner located O'Brien, who appeared to glance a header which took a deflection off United's Gary Boylan.
With two minutes remaining Cunningham connected with a Killian Brouder throw-in as United drew for the third time in 2021 on home turf.
